Cars are parked on one side at all times. Bottleneck at peak hours as it becomes a one-way road. Please widen this road (from 2 to 3 lanes) or put a double yellow line. A temporary traffic light at peak times would also help. Cars can then … [more]

Haywood Village used as a rat run by through traffic

Traffic filter slowing cars as they approach the bend near the castle coming from Winscombe - there have been lots of accidents with people coming round the corner too fast

Very narrow all along Blackmoor cars drive so fast and we all have drives straight onto the lane. No pavements and no street lights mean walking and cycling is so dangerous as well. Our children have to walk down the Lane to get the school … [more]

Drivers don’t stop at mini roundabout and cut corners at speed. So dangerous for us cyclists!

Cars travel dangerously fast around this bend, especially during 'rush hour' periods. Pedestrians, cyclists, and equestrians are at risk in these areas.

Speed limit here too high, a path or better signage in the least is needed, pedestrians regularly use the public footpath in the Show Ground which is accessible from the road, traffic on the road is way too fast considering there is a … [more]

Used by HGVs sometimes, trying to cut through traffic - very dangerous! Ladymead Lane, Pudding Pie Lane, and Jubilee Lane all need a width and weight restriction.

Slow the traffic that races down Mendip Rd to bypass the congested high street

This part of West End Lane is single use and traffic drives too fast making it dangerous for pedestrians, cyclists and horse-riders.

30mph limit needs to start here. Existing location does not have impact. Village gateway feature with central island would reinforce.

Make all side roads in Nailsea 20mph, making space for all the community.

Reduce traffic speed to make it safer for cycling, walking and horse riding

Make the road around the green behind Baltic Place one-way with marked parking.

Traffic travelling through Cleeve at 40 mph is dangerous and noisy. Some vehicles, including heavy lorries ignore the limit and thunder through the village, causing my rooms to vibrate!

Reduce speed along the whole length of Sheepway to 20 or 30mph. A lot of traffic is "rat run" and the cars speed through.

Rat run cars go far too fast. This should be a one way system too

Pavement only on one side of the road and that is often obstructed by parked vehicles

Too many cars and they go too fast. Lots of walkers and children about also there is a school further down the road

Hanham Way and The Causeway are used as a rat run. 5000 vehicles a day every day. Speed down Hanham Way is too fast for safety and noise reasons. Make Hanham Way 20mph. Make The Causeway one-way (heading out of Nailsea) it is too narrow, … [more]

Exit lane widened and visibility from taxiway improved

Extend left turn flare

Lane widening - flare extended

There is no continuous pavement on this road which means that pedestrians have to walk at the edge of the road. Kenn Street is used by all types of vehicles and most of them speed through the village, making walking very dangerous at … [more]

Bus stop is located in bay. Move stop onto carriageway and re-locate bus shelter in existing bay. This will reinforce slowing at entrance to village.

Crossroads for children on way to school and bus pick up, 150ft visibility 40 mph speed limit. Road is harzadous to cross and impossible for audible impaired and disabled

Slow traffic down on Avon Cycleway

20mph zone needed

Chicane to discourage speed

Make Kenn St less usable for through traffic

This road is used as a rat run and people drive very fast up and down the hill. Frequent collisions occur, especially near entrance to park and entrace to road at each end. Make this one-way or no-through-road, limit to 20mph with road … [more]

The cars parked along here make traffic a nightmare - introduce yellow lines on one side of the road to control parking, and slow traffic to 20mph as there are shops, eateries and pubs through here. Inroduce a cycle lane, again restricting … [more]

This would be a good place to slow traffic and create a travel hub linking bus routes and stops at Borough Arms and the Miton train station. Introduce pedestrian and cyclist priority crossing and cycle lanes.

Discourage HGV's and vans using the road as a shortcut

Vehicles travelling with excessive speed up/down Ashcombe Park Road, which is especially dangerous near to the public access points to the park. Suggest reduced speed limit, one way system or dead end.

Remove through traffic

Reduce traffic on future Pier to Pier Way route

Drivers use Yanley Lane as a cut-through. With no speed limit, they often go at 50mph despite the fact that it's a single track lane with poor visibility

I live just above this road, and work from home so look out onto it every day. It's used constantly by dog walkers, families (going to school) and horse riders. Cars do not stick to the speed limit, especially at peak times. It's very … [more]

20mph and speed bumps need to be in place

20mph and speed bumps to slow traffic.

Traffic travelling too quickly

Needs a 20 mph limit as Road is very narrow and is subject to speeding vehicles - there is no pavement

Remove the 30mph section and maintain a steady 20mph throughout the village.

Vehicles do not give way to uphill traffic. Better signage would helpful.

Zebra crossing to improve safety at school

20 mph for whole of estate

Traffic does not reduce speed to pass through the village. Consider reducing speed limit to 30mph and installing traffic calming

Cars come round this blind corner so quickly. It changes from 40mph to 30mph about here but it needs to be 20mph through the village. So many narrow lanes. We have seen so many scrapes and accidents. It’s also dangerous walking my children … [more]

Start of the 20mph zone coming into the village from the Winford Lane

This is a single track lane without designated passing places which is used by pedestrians and cyclists. It is a 'rat run' for vehicles crossing from Nailsea to access the M5 north and Bristol

Reduce the speed limit to 20

20mph speed limit together with traffic calming and pedestrian protection on blind bend

This route is unsuitable for cycling as motor traffic drives way too fast through these narrow lanes

Danger to cyclists. Motorists tend to assume cyclists will get out of the way and do not stop even when priority is not theirs. This was much better when Bristol Water had a road closure in place Nov 22

Too fast, too many accidents, horses live on this road and it’s dangerous to ride them/lead them currently. The speeds on this road are unacceptable

Make Millier Road no entry at this point and narrow the exit so as to prevent half-wits trying to speed down it from Main Road to avoid the turn right into Bishop Road

Needs to be 30mph here all the way along Main Road to past Brockley Stores

Needs to 20mph from here to Main Road

Needs to be 20mph for the section of Bishop Road to Main Road.

Pedestrians Only . No Cycling signs need to be reinstated

Speed bumps

This is a blind junction, cars drive very fast through here despite 30mph limit so can be dangerous to pull out onto - I have had several near misses pulling out of Gilbeck Road. Also people parking for the chip shop causes obstruction as … [more]

Traffic too fast, should be 30 mile an hour area all the way along. Too many large vehicles use as a cut through causing traffic jams and making it unsafe for people

20mph as the street is in constant use for the GP and community centre, and the slope tempts drivers to drive down the hill too fast.

20mph limit as the street is a busy walking and cycling route to the primary school and nursery.

Make this stretch of road 30mph, it would be safer for motorists, cyclists and the herd of cows that use the road from time to time!

Extra traffic calming to reduce the excessive driving speeds in village

Weight restriction signs are turned the wrong way

Zebra crossing to access bus stops

Zebra crossing for school kids

Zebra crossing for people to access bus stop

Dangerous for cyclists to cross road due to speed of vehicles approaching from both directions on barrow street

Cyclists (and cars) need a light controlled junction here. Exit visibility is poor and speeds/volume high!

Treated as a shortcut to get Station road. Car wizz off Rodney road and visibility for pedestrian is bad when cross with children on the way to school. Pedestrian crossing or a one way road might help.

Even though this is a 20 mph zone, cars still speed along it and even mount the pavement. It's dangerous when walking my children to school.

Slow down traffic past school - 20 mph - www.20splenty.org

Rat run

Vehicles have hit and damaged the village pump here. You can see the damage on the wall. Better signage required to warn drivers of the narrow width and to give pedestrians right of way.

Slow down traffic through the narrow bit. I've seen people get hit by cars as they go too fast and don't see pedestrians.

With the bypass the A371 will become a 20mph zone. The length of High Street which runs through a residential area should also become a 20mph zone.

Signposting to limit size of vehicles going up high street. There's a signpost at the well with a 3.5 tonne weigh limit, but I regularly see larger vehicles squeezing up high street.

This part of high street is narrow, queing traffic using it as a shortcut always block the path making it difficult for pedestrians and dog walkers.

The temporary pedestrianisation of Old Church Road here is a total failure. Car users show little or no respect for this restriction and often speed through this section of road to The Triangle. A suggestion to make it less attractive as a … [more]

The signs at the end of Station Road (which is pedestrianised) show that the pedestrian zone ends there when in fact it does not. The right turn is onto Old Church Road which is also (theoretically) pedestrianised for most of the day. This … [more]

Parking both sides of Lake Road causes congestion. Lake Road & Esplanade Road should be one way system.
